Veileder for avhending av skytebaner og øvingsfelt - del 1: Tungmetaller

A guidance document has been developed for closure of military shooting ranges contaminated with heavy metals. The document describes the decision process and highlights typical problems that are associated with such areas. Criteria for assessing the leakage of heavy metals to recipients such as groundwater, and a simplified and specified method for risk assessment are provided. Programs for sampling and remediation are suggested based on the current problems or combination of problems that the user defines.
