Utvikling av menneske-maskin-systemer

The report gives an introduction to the design of complex human-machine systems (HMS). First, definition and characterization of human-machine systems are given. Then, a process model for the development of HMSs is outlined which consists of an analytical and experimental part. Phases and activities of these parts are elaborated throughout the report. Additionally, performance models of human skill-, rule- and knowledge-based behaviour in socio-technical systems are discussed. The report is written as a compendium for an M Sc course in Human-Machine Systems Engineering at the Center for Technology at Kjeller.
