Situasjonsbevissthet og brukergrensesnitt - teori og anbefalinger for design av brukergrensesnitt for militære taktiske domener

The thesis gives an introduction to the concepts of situation awareness, ecological interface design, knowledge, rule and skill based behaviour and the abstraction hierarchy and their use in the design of user interfaces in maritime command and control information systems. A case study of the Royal Norwegian Navy’s Tactical Workstation (called SjøTAS) is also reported.
