Bestemmelse av thiodiglykol i saltvann og marine sediment med væskekromatograf tilkoblet elektrospray massespektrometer

Analytical methods for thiodiglycol (TDG) in sea water and marine sediment have been developed. The methods are based on solid phase extraction and analysis by use of HPLC-API-ES coupled to a MS in SIM positive ion modus. The detection limit for TDG in sea water was 0,25 µg/ml (50 ng TDG injected) and 20 ng/g (200 ng TDG injected) for wet sediment, based on the condition that [M-H2O+H]+ and [M+H] + should be detected with a S/N > 3. The injection volume was 20 µl.
