A review of empirical equations for missile impact effects on concrete

The literature on empirical equations for predicting penetration, perforation and scabbing is examined, and the relevant equations are given. These formulas are written in a nondimensional form in order to simplify comparison. It is seen that the Various equations are quite different and possible reasons for this are discussed. Finally We try to make some recommendations as to which equations should be applied.
